Welcome to our pre-school program. We have set many fun filled goals to help your child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive developments. Our pre-school curriculum provides numerous opportunities for children to demonstrate and practice their decision-making skills in a safe and positive environment.
Weekly lesson plan centers on areas such as self-concept, motor skills, language, socialization, creativity and self-help. Children love the out-door activities and we make sure they enjoy the play ground activities few times a day. Healthy young bodies need time to stretch and wiggle in the fresh-air. We communicate our activities to you on a “Daily Activity Report” that contains information about your child’s day. This information will help you talk to your child about his/her day. Parents are encouraged to participate in our program several times throughout the year. We serve healthy snacks and fruit juice in the morning and afternoon. Children have their own mats for naptime.
Following are some of the things you will see in our pre-school classroom:
Listening to stories, singing songs, dancing, laughing, playing games and doing art projects. Sharing and getting along with others. Building blocks, solving puzzles and getting lots of encouragements and hugs from teachers. Spanish is also taught as a 2nd language!
